Swiss Re names international head of P&C options

Swiss Re has introduced the appointment of Ali Shahkarami (pictured above) as international head of P&C options. He’ll report back to Russell Higginbotham, CEO of Reinsurance Options.

In his new position, Shahkarami will lead a workforce of insurance coverage and knowledge consultants based mostly in Munich. Their mission will likely be to supply property, specialty, and casualty options to shoppers of Swiss Re’s newly launched Reinsurance Options division.

Shahkarami joins Swiss Re from Allianz International Company & Specialty (AGCS), the place he served as chief knowledge officer.
