Australia-based QBE Insurance coverage Group has named Julie Wooden because the CEO of its North America enterprise.
Wooden joined QBE in January 2023 as group head of distribution. She has been appearing as interim North America CEO since August 2023 after Todd Jones exited the place.
The newest appointment is topic to receipt of approval from the regulatory authority.
Wooden will proceed on the group govt committee of QBE and can report back to QBE North America Group CEO Andrew Horton.
Previous to becoming a member of QBE, Julie served within the function of South-East partnership and zonal chief at Marsh.

Parallelly, QBE named Naintara Agarwal because the underwriting and portfolio administration director for the European area.
Within the new place, Agarwal will oversee main the underwriting technique for the area.
She will even collaborate with common managers of the corporate’s European enterprise to ensure development and profitability.
Agarwal will report back to QBE Europe Insurance coverage director Beatriz Valenti Barbat and QBE Worldwide’s chief underwriting officer Nick Hankin.
In April 2023, QBE Insurance coverage Group’s reinsurance unit QBE Re named Andy Richardson as its new underwriting head for the Bermuda area.
